A future of inclusion at ALTEN: let’s act together!
European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities 2024
On the occasion of the 28th European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities, organized by LADAPT, Agefiph, and FIPHFP, a central theme was debated across France: “Disability and career path: how to ensure true equality of opportunity?” The goal of this week is to facilitate meetings between companies, policymakers, associations, civil society, and job seekers with disabilities. This event also aims to highlight initiatives implemented in companies to raise awareness among their employees.
ALTEN in action
On Thursday, November 21st, ALTEN had the honor of hosting two exceptional guests: Gaëtan Charlot, a parafencing athlete of the French team accompanied by his fencing master, and Lucas Didier, silver medalist at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in table tennis.
The day was rich in activities, with fun and sports workshops led by Lucas Didier and Gaëtan Charlot, allowing employees to exchange ideas about their journeys. Our Head of the Disability Unit, Florence Guyot, ran an information booth to raise awareness among participants.
ALTEN regularly organizes awareness actions throughout the year for its teams, with the European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities being a key communication highlight. These initiatives aim to raise awareness among all employees about inclusion.
