ALTEN AT SIDO 2024
As a major industry partner, ALTEN was present at the 10th edition of the SIDO trade show, the must-attend event for the convergence of IOT, AI, XR and robotics technologies from 18 to 19 September 2024 at the Cité Internationale in Lyon.
During the event, ALTEN presented its joint offering with Schneider Electric, designed to support industrial players in their transition to Industry 4.0.
This collaboration focuses on optimising the plant value chain, with a strong emphasis on energy management and sustainability. It aims to:
- Improve equipment performance,
- Use contextualised data for smarter operations,
- Ensure IT/OT convergence and strengthen cyber security,
- Promote energy management for more sustainable practices.
Presentation of the NeoAutomate demonstrator on the ALTEN booth
The result of a collaboration between ALTEN and its partners Schneider Electric and STMicroelectronics, this project highlights a new kind of predictive maintenance system. Thanks to on-board artificial intelligence, it is now possible to anticipate breakdowns and optimise machine maintenance, thereby reducing costs and increasing the lifespan of equipment.
More than a technology demonstrator, this project is also a tremendous catalyst for ALTEN, enabling our interns and new consultants to be trained in our partners’ software tools, preparing them to become experts in industrial automation and embedded artificial intelligence. The NeoAutomate demonstrator offers a vision of an integrated predictive maintenance solution that can be deployed to improve the reliability and efficiency of industrial operations.
Mini Plant: new features
ALTEN is enhancing its human-centred vision by deploying new functionalities on its Mini-Plant demonstrator. At SIDO 2024, the Mini Plant will feature new technological advances in terms of operator support, management flexibility and data sharing:
- The digital twin as a data aggregator
- Sharing and Accessibility thanks to the Metaverse through the 3DVerse partnership
- LISA and SAM, two generative AIs with two distinct objectives: Guiding and Doing.
