ALTEN recognized “Innovation Leader 2023” by Les Echos
The first edition of the “Innovation Leaders” awards
The Innovation Leaders awards are presented by Les Echos in collaboration with independent research institute Statista. The aim of this initiative is to showcase companies that place innovation at the heart of their strategy.
Three areas of innovation were examined for this year’s “Innovation Leaders” awards: innovation in product or service offerings and customer relations, innovation in processes and corporate social responsibility (CSR), and innovation in corporate culture, governance and the promotion of creativity (innovation culture).
Innovation at the heart of our projects
“At ALTEN, we are convinced that innovation is meaningless unless it has a positive impact on people’s lives. Factory 4.0, 5G, Green IT, digital transformation, etc. We provide our know-how and expertise to meet the challenges of our customers and partners.”
Simon Azoulay, Chief Executive Officer of ALTEN
In terms of innovation, ALTEN offers a unique, multi-disciplinary and multi-sector field of investigation, combining engineering with digital technology and business services. Supported by this internal R&D, ALTEN is continuously strengthening its environmental responsibility in the face of the climate and societal challenges to global society. Indeed, more than 25% of our innovation activities each year address an ecological or sustainable environmental issue.
Innovation in industry: people at the heart of Factory 4.0
“The factory of the future is not just a range of new technologies, it is also a new way of working for the people who work there.”
François Portier, Director of ALTEN’s “Smart Factory 4.0” Research Programme, analyses the Group’s approach to enhancing the role of people in tomorrow’s industry. This initiative is underpinned by partnerships with high technological added value.
Innovating for greener mobility and a transport industry 4.0
ALTEN, a world leader in engineering and IT services, has a key role to play in serving infrastructure managers, transport authorities, operators and industrial suppliers of railway systems in their quest for performance and quality.
As a result, ALTEN is carrying out increasingly innovative research projects to support its customers in moving towards mobility that is increasingly eco-friendly in terms of both CO2 emissions and noise pollution, intelligent transport systems (ITS), and global digitalisation from design to use.
Women at the heart of innovation
The ALTEN Group is founded on a commitment to inclusion and diversity, including the belief that women have a great deal to offer in technical and scientific roles. ALTEN is working to increase the number of women in its workforce.
