ALTEN Subsidiary CIeNET Becomes a Google Accredited 3PL Partner for Android Automotive OS and its Apps & Service
ALTEN is proud to announce that its subsidiary, CIeNET, has been certified as a Google Third-Party Laboratory (3PL), advancing its capabilities in Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and Google applications and services. This strategic integration of CIeNET’s certification services into ALTEN’s software program underscores our commitment to leveraging industry shifts for optimal impact.
CIeNET’s new status as a 3PL enables it to collaborate directly with Google on AAOS and other application certifications, ensuring that a vehicle’s infotainment system meets Google’s standards for functionality, compatibility, and user experience. This development represents a significant milestone in CIeNET’s partnership with Google, which began in 2020 with its inclusion in Google’s software services supplier network.
As an accredited 3PL, CIeNET will offer a comprehensive suite of services, including xTS execution, test failure analysis and triage, test improvements, and will expand to encompass additional activities required for full platform certification. Our goal is to streamline the certification process for OEMs, speeding up product time-to-market and enhancing their competitive edge.
